
Prof. Paul P.W. Achola
Chairman
Prof. Paul P.W. Achola is a seasoned scholar, accomplished academic and thought leader with over four decades of experience in education, research, and consultancy. He holds a PhD in Social Foundations of Education from the University of Iowa USA, with a focus on Sociology, Comparative Education and Social Science Research Methods. He also holds master’s degrees in Political Science from University of Iowa and Political Sociology from University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nairobi.
He is currently a Research Professor at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and the Chairman of the Ethics and Integrity Institute.
Over the years, Prof. Achola has served in key academic leadership roles, including Chairman of the Department of Sociology and Director of the Bureau of Educational Research at Kenyatta University. He was also a Fulbright senior research scholar at the University of North Texas, USA and adjunct professor at the Maryknoll Institute of African Studies, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where he engaged in postgraduate teaching and research. Prof. Achola has also served in leadership capacities as a Chairman of the Siaya Municipal Board.
Prof. Achola has led and participated in numerous national and international consultancies, including projects with UNICEF, UNESCO, CDC, FAO, USAID and the Ministry of Health and Education in Kenya. His research and consultancy work have addressed critical national issues such as HIV and AIDS mainstreaming, ethical conduct among youth, education system evaluations and public health service delivery. His areas of expertise and intrest include sociology of education, public policy, development studies and research methodology where his commitment to community development is evident through roles in county taskforces and cultural organizations.
Beyond academia, Prof. Achola has served in various leadership positions at the county and national levels. He is the Chairman of the Siaya Municipal Board and has chaired key taskforces including the committee responsible for establishing Maseno University’s Campus in Siaya County.
He continues to contribute to policy and academic discourse through research, publication, and mentoring, making him a key resource in the transformation of education and governance in Kenya.

Jacky Nyandenje
Director and Team Leader
Jacky is a Certified Ethics Officer and a Governance Trainer. She holds a Masters degree in Economics from Panjab University in India and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons. Economics) from the same Institution. She is yet to complete a Doctorate of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio, USA. Jacky has also obtained postgraduate diplomas in Personel Management and Industrial Relations, International Relations and Defence Studies.
She has worked with various organizations starting at Research Solutions from 1998 – 1999 as a Research Executive, then at KCA University from 1999 to 2011. At the University, Jacky grew up the ranks from Marketing Officer to the Director Institute for Capacity Development. In February 2012, she founded the Ethics and Integrity Institute where she is currently the Team Leader and Executive Director.
She is a facilitator, a researcher, an author and a motivational speaker. She facilitates at conferences, workshops, seminars and short courses globally.
Her global engagements have been to over 25 countries in Africa, Asia, North Americas and Europe. Some assignments have been to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Morocco, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Nigeria, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Tokyo, Slovakia, Hungari, Austria, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Bahamas, USA, Australia and Canada
Jacky is a member of Member of the Institute of Human Resources Management, the Institute of Directors (IOD) and a Vice – Chair Caux Roundtable, Kenya Chapter, a US based Ethics organization. She has served as a non executive director as follow:- as Member of Capital Markets Authority Corporate Governance Committee 2012 – 2015, Board Director Mhasibu Sacco Society 2006 – 2011, Board Director Mhasibu Housing Company 2009 – 2011, Member National Industrial Training Authority Task force on the review of registration of trainers requirements, Vice Chair, Board of Management of St Gabriels Girls Secondary School, Suba South Constituency, Chair Person of Board of St. Merceline Kigoto Mixed Secondary School, Suba South Constituency.

Julie S. Ogoye
Director
Julie S. Ogoye holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from KCA University and a Certificate in Corruption Studies from Hong Kong University. She is also a trained examiner, certified integrity assurance officer and Trainer of Trainers under the Public Service Integrity Programme.
She is a deputy director, integrity division and a seasoned public servant with extensive experience in ethics, integrity promotion and anti-corruption strategies. Currently, she serves as a director Ethics and Integrity Institute and a deputy director in the integrity division at the Teachers Service Commission, where she has played a central role in mainstreaming national values and enhancing ethical standards within the education sector for over two decades. In her current role, she oversees the development and implementation of integrity policies, leads corruption risk assessments and facilitates sensitization programmes for TSC staff and stakeholders. She also serves as a technical advisor to school-based Integrity Clubs and represents TSC in multi-agency forums on ethics and governance.
She has specialized in anti-corruption programming, national values integration and staff capacity building. Julie has led numerous national initiatives including corruption risk assessments, automation of asset declaration processes development of training materials and advocacy through youth-focused programs like the Kenya Music Festival and Drama Festivals.
As a recognized trainer and speaker, Julie has co-authored integrity training resources and contributed extensively to institutional policy development. Julie has co-authored key publications such as “Mainstreaming Ethics in the Workplace” and played a significant role in research on ethical conduct among Kenyan youth. She is also a contributor to Integrity Matters magazine and a technical advisor to school-based Integrity Clubs.
With a passion for values-driven leadership, Julie is also active as a motivational speaker, peer counselor and chairperson of the TSC National Values Committee. Her work reflects a deep commitment to building a culture of integrity and professionalism in public service.

John Paul Ngeso Akech
Director
John Paul Ngeso Akech holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Planning from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Bachelor of Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Tangaza University College. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Education, with research interests in public administration, employee well-being, diversity, and educational leadership.
John is an experienced administrator and educator with a strong background in higher education management, public administration and curriculum development. He currently serves as the Principal Administration Officer at the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA), where he contributes to policy implementation, strategic planning, and stakeholder coordination
In his professional journey, he has taught in secondary schools, served in leadership roles as a university admissions coordinator and teaching practice coordinator at Tangaza University. He has taught various subjects, including educational administration, curriculum development and foundations of education.
His areas of expertise are higher education administration, curriculum development and implementation, educational leadership and planning, public administration, strategic networking and stakeholder engagement, online teaching and blended learning
John brings a passion for education, a strong commitment to quality assurance, and proven experience in mentoring, research supervision, and institutional development.

Patricia Okello
Administration Officer
Patricia is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Accounting and Finance. She brings both technical expertise and a passion for financial integrity, making her a valuable asset in any organizational setting.
She pursued her bachelor’s degree studies at Technical University of Mombasa. Her academic experience has equipped her with skills in accounting, financial reporting and analysis, corporate finance and budgeting, cost accounting and investment management.
Throughout her studies, she has consistently demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, which she has since applied in work projects. She has developed proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems.
She is particularly drawn to roles where she can help organizations manage their resources efficiently, ensure compliance and contribute to strategic planning. She values integrity, attention to detail and continuous learning and believe these qualities make her a reliable team player ready to thrive in dynamic financial environments.
At the Ethics and Integrity Institute, she is responsible for office management, supporting senior management, financial administration, records and information management.

Nafula Lucy
Digital Marketer
Lucy is a dedicated professional with a background in Environmental Science and Digital Marketing.
She pursued her bachelor’s degree at Chuka University and a digital marketing course at Digital Opportunity Trust Kenya. Her academic experience has equipped her with skills in risk assessment, search engine optimization, occupational health and safety, conservation and social marketing strategies.
She has worked with various organizations including Mabati Rolling Mills, Scrap Metal Council and now The Ethics and Integrity Institute.
Lucy is a member of Silver Oak Mazingira Hub, Bungoma Reproductive Maternal Neonatal Health Network, Crowned Generation CBO and Nairobi UrbanBetter Cytizens.
She is passionate about enhancing operational efficiencies within the industrial sector and promoting sustainable organizational practices. Beyond her professional pursuits, she also volunteers in forums to do with tree planting and identification, health advocacy, clean air advocacy, community development projects and exploring innovative technological solutions.
At the Ethics and Integrity Institute, she is responsible for setting up and managing social media pages, updating and preparing a database used for regular posting, preparing with the assistance of program heads the Institute’s marketing strategy, core brand message and their application to all media platforms, development and production of high-impact promotional materials, communications and publicity materials.
She is committed to continuous learning and growth, aiming to contribute meaningfully to the industry and society.
