Certification
Delivered with the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis.
A further cohort of officers completed certification through KIPPRA, continuing a series of intakes that has run since 2013 across multiple partner institutions.
Study Mission
LAPFUND led a delegation joined by Kajiado, Kitui and Tharaka Nithi counties.
The mission continued EII's long-running relationship with Canadian public-ethics institutions, building on the earlier Public Sector Ethics Study Mission organised with IPAC.
Forum
Themed "Implementing Effective Ethics Standards in Government and Civil Service."
Delegates included Nairobi City Water, the Teachers Service Commission and the Office of the Auditor-General, extending the Forum's reach beyond Kenya's borders.
Study Mission
A regional first for EII's study-mission program.
The study brought together legislators from Baringo and Bungoma County Governments, laying groundwork for the international study missions that followed in 2016–2018.
Certification
Phase I and Phase II ran with KIPPRA, KEMSA and the Retirement Benefits Authority.
The two-phase structure let officers from different institutions certify on a staggered schedule, a format EII has since reused for later intakes.
County Programs
Kajiado, Bomet, Kericho, Kilifi, Tana River and Uasin Gishu counties took part.
The forum gave county legal officers a dedicated ethics track for the first time, distinct from the broader Mainstreaming Ethics programs run for other county staff.
Consultancy
A World Bank-funded assessment covering Nairobi's informal settlement areas.
The assessment fed into the utility's wider social-safeguards work, one of EII's few consultancy engagements with direct World Bank funding on record.
Study Mission
The Parliamentary Service Commission and LAPFUND were represented.
Delegates met the Municipal Council, Mayor and Sheriff of Minneapolis to study housing development and the "Guardian vs Warrior" approach to law and order.
Forum
A milestone conference in EII's long-running relationship with LAPFUND.
The engagement capped off a multi-year relationship that has spanned corruption risk assessments, integrity policy development and leadership training.
Certification
Delivered alongside Tourism Fund and Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company.
CMA went on to certify officers across several later phases, becoming one of EII's most recurring certification clients in the financial-regulation sector.
County Programs
Part of an ongoing relationship with Laikipia's county leadership.
Laikipia County Assembly went on to feature in later 2019 leadership-conference engagements, one of EII's more consistent county partners.
Study Mission
Delegates visited Canada's integrity commission directly.
The mission focused on how legislators are guided into ethical decision-making — a theme EII has since carried into its own certification curriculum.
Consultancy
Part of a multi-year advisory relationship with the medical-supplies authority.
KEMSA has been one of EII's most recurring clients, spanning certification intakes, corruption risk management and this dedicated fraud-prevention strategy.
Forum
An agribusiness-focused summit for county assembly members.
The summit tied into EII's Wealth Creation through Agribusiness empowerment theme, echoed later in the Tailored Agricultural & Value Addition Tour.
